I am happy to announce that RampageShop.com has added another great aftermarket supplier - Oneill Brothers Racing (OBR).

OBR is very well known in the large scale community as one of the premier builders of high performance yet reliable engines.  With the help of OBR, I've added several engines that are a drop-in fit for all models of Rampages.  Check out these awesome engines:
Redcat Rampage Engine
STAGE 1 - 5.5hp Zenoah 30.5cc 4 Bolt
Designed to be a direct fit in all Rampage models, this STAGE 1 motor is engineered to provide dramatically increased power while maintaining reliability and ease of use.  This engine is ideal if this will be your first high output engine as it is easy to tune and yet will completely transform your Rampage.

Rampage MT Engine
STAGE 2t - 7.5hp Zenoah 30.5cc 4 Bolt High Torque Engine
Originally designed specifically for the Losi 5t, this high torque, full mod is ideal for the heavy Rampage MT but will also fit all other Rampage models.  If you are looking for stump pulling torque, this is the motor for you.

STAGE 2s - 7.5hp Zenoah 30.5cc 4 Bolt High RPM Engine
Although, not as powerful as the STAGE 2t High Torque Engine, this 29.5cc revs higher and is ideal for larger tracks open fields.  This is a perfect motor choice for the XB, XSC and Chimera if you run in large, open areas and want higher top speed.

STAGE 3 - 7.0hp Zenoah 30.5cc Long Rod Engine
This high revving Long Rod 30.5cc is perfect for anyone looking for more RPM throughout the powerband.  This is a great engine for the X series Rampages but also works well in the MT and DuneRunner.

STAGE 4 - 8.5hp Zenoah 30.5cc 4 Bolt Reed Engine
Designed by OBR and Turtle Racing specifically for heavy 4x4 vehicles like the Losi 5t and Redcat Rampage MT, this motor is our most powerful option.  If you want the best of the best, check out this beast!

Here's the most recent picture of the soon to be released addition to the Rampage line-up.  It''s a 1/5 scale desert buggy / sand rail.  This picture is of a prototype model but according to the owner of Redcat Racing, it is almost identical to the production model.  The production buggy will have a painted body however.
From what I can see in the picture, the new Rampage appears to be an XSC short course truck chassis with a new body / roll cage.  I see XSC wheels and tires (with 10mm hex nuts) and XSC front bumper.  The shocks, and suspension mounts look like standard issue X series components as well.

I wonder if Redcat took this opportunity to increase the size of bearings in the hubs and gear plate.  I guess only time will tell.

What do you think of the new Rampage?  Leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts.
