One of the most common questions I'm asked is what oil/fuel ratio should I run in my Rampage. I've created several blog posts in the past that address this question but here's a product that may make your life even easier.
Powermast Fuels offers pre-mixed fuels that take the guess work out of mixing your fuel and oil. If you are new the large scale RC or just want a safe mix that will help protect your Rampage's engine, go with the 25:1 ratio. If you want a little more power and are willing to risk running a lower oil ration, try the 40:1 By the way, if you use the links in this article to purchase your Powermaster fuel from Amazon (or anything else on Amazon), I'll earn a small commission. Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it. Rob Another small order of Rampage parts has just arrived including pull starters and carb gasket sets. If you've been waiting on these, they're in stock now and ready to ship.

You are still welcome to place orders if you'd like and I'll ship them out as soon as I get back. Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it Rob

Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it Rob It has been a LONG time since we've had a new Rampage to talk about but it looks like Redcat is finally about to release the details of a new truck. I believe the new truck will be called the Rampage R5. I don't have any insider information but here is what I THINK the truck may be...

I wrote a blog post a while back that listed the most requested parts and accessories for the Rampage MT. Today's post is similar but this one is all about the Rampage XT gas trucks and Rampage XB gas buggy. Because these vehicles share the same chassis, the parts lists are identical for both vehicles.

Understanding Screw DimensionsIf the instruction manual doesn't help, or you are trying to do a custom build of some kind, here's a quick tip on measuring screws. By the way, all Rampages use metric hardware How to Measure LengthWhen measuring the length of screws, measure from the surface of the material where the fastener will be to the end of the fastener. Flat Head Screw Length: For example, if you are measuring a screw that is on the bottom of the chassis, it is likely a flat head / counter sunk screw. In this case, you would measure from the surface of the chassis, to the tip of the screw. Or, just remember to measure the entire length of flat head screws like the image above. Button Head Screw Length: Some of the screws on your Rampage may be button head or cap head screws like the image on the upper right. In this case, you would measure from the under side of the head (this is where the surface of the material will contact the screw) to the tip of the fastener. How to Measure DiameterScrew Diameter: The diameter of a screw or bolt is determined by measuring across the threaded portion of the screw. It is NOT determined by the size of wrench required to turn the screw or bolt. Hex Nut Diameter: A hex nut is measured by the size of the hole in the center of the nut, NOT by the size of the wrench used to turn the nut. Washers: Washers have an inner and an outer measurement. For example, part number 07177 m6 x 16 flat washers have a 6mm inner hole and a 16mm outer diameter Understanding Product DescriptionsUnderstanding how to read the product description is the next step in ensuring you order the correct screws for your Rampage. Here are a few examples of Rampage hardware along with some additional tips on understanding the part descriptions ScrewsNutsWashersI hope this article helps you find the correct part for your Rampage.
