Few things in RC are more frustrating than stripping screws when wrenching. Did you know that in most cases, the cause of stripped screws isn't the screw itself but the tools you are using to remove the screws?
This is why I HIGHLY recommend you invest in some high quality tools - and the only ones I recommend are MIP. Yes, MIP tools cost a little more than most others but trust me, you will not regret buying them. Not only will they save you a lot of frustration over stripped screws but they also last forever and feel really good in your hand.
If you are on a tight budget, just get yourself an MIP 3.0mm Hex Driver to start with. Be sure to get the regular hex driver (part 9011), not the ball end driver This will take care of the majority of screws on the bottom of your chassis. I also like to use a metal pick to clean out any dirt from the screw head before attempting to remove the screws.
After you've purchased your 3.0mm Hex Driver, the following sizes will also come in handy but are not as critical to have if you can't afford them right away:
Unfortunately, MIP doesn't make a 4mm or a 5mm Hex Driver so you'll have to find another high quality brand for these sizes (I use Wurth but they are difficult to find).
'till next time
