The Rampage Chimera SR 1/5 Sand Rail is one of the hottest large scale vehicles to ever be released by Redcat Racing!

Based on the popular Rampage XT / XB platform, the Rampage Chimera SR adds a realistic desert buggy style body, roll cage, spoiler and light bar for the ultimate in large scale realism. The Rampage Chimera SR makes a great basher or racer as extra attention has been placed on reducing weight to make the Chimera SR an excellent performer on the track. This extra-large, extra-powerful buggy features 4WD, a powerful 30cc gasoline engine, 20kg metal gear steering servo, extra-thick 6061 T6 aluminum chassis, front and rear sealed differentials, shaft drivetrain and is fully ready to run - just add fuel in the tank and AA batteries in the 2.4gHz transmitter.

Unlike fussy nitro engines, the huge 30cc pull-start equipped engine is super easy to start and requires very little tuning so you can spend more time driving and less time tuning. It's also cheap to run on normal unleaded pump gasoline mixed with oil.
