Recently I wrote a post about the importance of investing in high quality tools (see that post here) and I thought I'd expand on it a little to show you one of my favorite RC tools of all time
These little power drivers are usually around $20 on Amazon and come in a few different colors. I have this red one and I also have a black one that's still in the package. When you combine this tool with some high quality bits like the MIP Speed Tips, you'll save a lot of time when wrenching on your Rampage.
I like this tool because it's not too powerful. It doesn't have a clutch but it has just enough power to install and remove screws without stripping the plastic. I still use a little bit of care when using it to help avoid any problems. I also like the fact that it has an LED light that turns on automatically when the driver is running to help light up the work area.
If you do decide to pick up one of these tools, I can't stress enough the importance of using only high quality bits like the MIP Speed Tips with a 3.0mm being the most commonly used tip. This will help ensure you don't strip any screw heads.
'till next time, have fun wrenching
