Ask Rob:  What's the Best Charger For My Gas Powered Rampage?

5/30/2017

HexFly HX-705 Charger
I received an email from Chad a few minutes ago.  Chad mentioned that the stock battery charger for his Rampage takes too long to charge the receiver battery and he asked what the best charger would be.

I sell the HexFly HX-705 and it's a great charger for the price.  The receiver battery plugs directly into the front of the charger and will fully charge the stock receiver pack in about an hour.

I personally also own and use a B6 that I purchased from Amazon.  These are available under several different brand names but to the best of my knowledge, all of these B6 chargers are all the same internally.  I like the B6 because I can charge NiMh and LiPo batteries with it.  I also like that the B6 has a storage mode for my LiPo packs.  The HX-705 will only charge NiMh packs so if you go with the HexFly, you should be aware of that.

Thanks to Chad for the question.  I hope this helps him and anyone else that is shopping for a new charger.

Rob

By the way, if you found this helpful, please use the links in this post if you buy a charger on Amazon and I'll earn a small commission.  Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it.
